1. Building Regulations Revision Bill Passes National Assembly Committee (0430-1)

A revision bill for the mitigation of building regulations, was recently passed the ‘Land Transportation Committee’ of the Korean National Assembly. This bill was drafted laid out the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, to ease the regulation-related difficulties faced the provincial industries.

After three years since its completion, the troubled ‘Yongin (용인) Everline, a light rail transit line, openedbegan operation in Yongin (용인) City. A GNews reporter investigated the details.

‘Everline’ was already completed in 2010, but its operation has been delayed due to legal proceedings. However, operation finally began on the 26th of April, running 398 travels a day5:30 am until midnight in three-to-ten minute intervals.

Travelling 18 kilometers between Giheung (기흥)Everland in thirty minutes, Everline calls fifteen stations through the city. Adult fares are 1,300 Korean won. Itexpected to help resolve the increasing traffic demand in these areas.

The ‘G-Global Aviation’ in Ansan (안산)’, the largest air show in Asia opened on the 1st of May for five days running in Ansan (안산) in Gyeonggi Province.
