According to the statistics announcedthe Gyeonggi Provincial Administration, the number of new employments through the job centers, in thirty-one citiescounties of the province during the first quarter of this year, has risen23 percent compared to the same period last year. While the number of employments via the Gyeonggi Employment Center rose more than twofold, the increase rate inother local job centers rose19 percent.

It was the ‘Technical Cooperation Team’ of ‘Gyeonggi Province’ that helped this company as a technical partner. The portable hoist with variable speed controls was developed entirely using domestically manufactured marts. It has already marked sales of 2.1 billion Korean won. The new hoist models of this company willonly have import replacement effect, but it will also many new jobs.

During a five-day tour of the United States, the Gyeonggi delegation signed memorandums of understanding with technology leaders for investments amounting to 245 US Dollars. First, Synos Technology, a display manufacturer with proprietary technologies decided to establish a production base in the Pyeongtaek (평택) Industrial Complex

InvestmentsU.S. companies also include global distributor, COSTCO,an automobile parts manufacturer, Matilda, which combined will result in the creation of 1,500 new jobs. The Gyeonggi Provincial Government will provide these companies with full administrative support.

There are 106 designated ‘New Towns’ in Gyeonggi Province, but only 31 of them saw the formation of a resident cooperative, whichthe prerequisite for the progress of development work. Many sites are in danger of the cancellation of designation.
3) Regulatory Amendment to Authorize Governor to Allow Self-Dissolution of Project
