Earlier this year, Gyeonggi Province launched the Child & Mom Café Project to establish childcare facilities in public offices. These new facilities combine child nursing servicesa café for waiting mothers who had difficulties gaining access to nurseries or kindergartens.

The 93rd Korean National Sports Festival ended on October 17th. Gyeonggi Province achieved overall championship for an amazing 11th consecutive year.

Athletes of Gyeonggi Province won 133 gold, 131 silver148 bronze medals among the 17 provincesmetropolises of Korea, leaving second-place winner Daegu (대구) City, which won a total of 227 medals, far behind.

Gyeonggi Province achieved an impressive 21st consecutive general victory in trackfield events, as well as a 14th consecutive general victory in judo. This re-opened section of the ancient road spans 34 kmSuwon (수원) City to Hwaseong (화성) City. The remaining section of the road will also be opened after restoration of the original routes.

Hearing that the visiting public service team opened its on-site Dominanbang (도민안방) office in Gunpo (군포) City today, Cho Mi-hee (조미희) hurried to the site. She wasdifficulties cancelling a resort membership as her cancellation request was refusedthe resort operator. However, her problem was solved through a consumer consultation at the on-site public service office.
