The Gyeonggi FirefightingDisaster Headquarters organized the Summer 119 Safety Camp for children.

This camp was designed to promote an awareness of the importance of safety among children through hands-on experiences. Participating children will learn how to maneuver a water cannonevacuate a buildingsliding along a ropefinding an exit in the darkness.

This safety camp will open on July 30th for primary school children in Gyeonggi Province.
2) 2-Day Safety-in-Daily-Life Practice Training
During this two-day camp, children will learnfirefighters how to practice safety in their daily lives.

The Gyeonggi Maritime & Fisheries Research Institute announced thatfreshwater fish in the riversmarkets of Gyeonggi Province are safe for consumption. This comes as welcome news to Gyeonggi residents since most Koreans have long been reluctant to consume freshwater fish for fear of contracting parasites.

All freshwater fish living in major riversstreams or found in the markets of Gyeonggi Province were found safe for consumption.
The Gyeonggi Maritime & Fisheries Research Institute conducted safety inspections on a total of 680 tons of freshwater fish,announced thattested specimens satisfied the hygiene standards of the Korea FoodDrug Administration.

Organized on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, this Gyeonggi Rice Special Exhibition was held under the theme of “Rice, RiceRice”, utilizing three different Korean words that describe rice in its plant, graincooked forms.

This exhibition featured everything related to ricerice farming tools, such as those used for plowing rice paddiesspreading fertilizer, to processed rice foodsdrinks such as traditional rice winerice cookies.

An unusual adult bicycle tour was organized in Yangpyeong (양평) County. Participants are braving the hot weather because they know itfor a good cause. They are delivering bicycles that are to be donated to children in difficult situations. At the site of the bicycle presentation ceremony, children are waiting. They include child heads of householdsmembers of multicultural families.

One in every three employees of the Gyeonggi Small & Medium Business Centera woman,18% of the women employees are expecting babies this year alone.
3) 15 Months Maternity Leave
A pregnant employee of this center can have a total of 15 months maternity leave – three paid months for childbirthtwelve months temporary retirement for child nursing – during which time her position will be filleda temporary replacement such as Lee Sora (이소라) in the Planning Team.
