The definition of a small library eligible for librarian supportone that has at least 1,000 bookssix seats in an area greater than 33 square meters. There are 862 such libraries in Gyeonggi Province, typically located in residential areas such as apartment complexes. They are operated independentlyresident groups.
3) Inconvenience Due to Irregular Hours
However, s of these libraries are inconveniencedtheir irregular operation hours since these libraries are staffedvolunteers whose working schedules hinge on personal situations.
4) InaugurationEducation of Provincial Resident Librarians (July 2nd)
To address this problem, Gyeonggi Province recruited 160 provincial residentswill assign them to 83 small libraries in 12 cities of the province after providing them with necessary librarian training.
