Pangyo (판교) New Town will see the construction of Pangyo (판교) Techno Valley, a large-scale research complex, completed in 2015. This Korean extension of Institut Pasteur, a world-renowned medical research institute,already engaged in full operations at its new researchdevelopment center in Pangyo (판교) Techno Valley. Institut Pasteur chose Pangyo (판교) Techno Valley in 2009 since the area features ideal infrastructure for research activities.

A special class has been opened to primary school children in which they can experience the difficulties facedseniorsthose with disabilities. By experiencing such difficulties themselves, the children learn to care for individuals who need assistance.

Gyeonggi Province plans to provide this visiting care design class at 22 primary schoolswill endeavor to foster a society that incorporates care design.

According to the Gyeonggi Research Institute, the economic benefits of one free trade agreement with a European country on industries in Gyeonggi Province will amount to KRW450 billion a year. The Korea-US Free Trade Agreement will have the effect of increasing production in Gyeonggi ProvinceKRW1.9 trillion a year.
4) G-Trade Marks 23% More Deals Than Average Export Consultation Meetings

Mannyeonjae (만년제), or ‘ten thousand year embankment’, in Hwaseong (화성) City of Gyeonggi Province, has been the subject of considerable controversy over its precise locationsize. Gyeonggi Province ended the controversy through a detailed investigation.

2) Designated a Provincial Cultural Asset in July 1996
This ancient embankment was built during the period of King Jeongjo (정조) of the Choseon (조선) Dynasty for irrigation purposes,has been protected as a cultural asset of Gyeonggi Province since July of 1996.
However, some scholarslocal residents raised objections to this designation, arguing that its locationsize doconform to historical records,even filed a suit applying for the annulment of the cultural asset designation.
To confirm the true identity of this embankment, the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation began excavating the site last yearconcluded its investigation after eight months.
3) Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation Verifies Conformance with Historical Records
The foundation announced that this embankmentindeed the Mannyeonjae (만년제) that was built during the Choseon (조선) Dynasty, confirming that its dimensionssection locations are in exact accordance with the deions in Ilseongrok (일성록), a historical journal of state affairs.
