The graduates of the baker’s license course offeredthe Gyeonggi Women’s Vision Center reunite often for volunteer work. For more than ten years, they have met regularlyprepared baked goods for free distribution to local welfare facilities.

It’s early in the morning,these women are already busy baking to meet the delivery schedule. All of them are veteran bakers with more than seven years of experience. There are a total of 170 members in the talent donation teams associated with this center. All the members are qualified professionals with years of experience in various fields such as baking, hand acupunctureyoga.

An unusual concert was held at a livestock farm in Hwaseong (화성) City of Gyeonggi Province.

5) Promotion of Positive Social Recognition of Stock Farming
This stock farm concert was organizedGyeonggi Province as part of circulating concerts at stock farms throughout the province that began in 2008 for the purpose of boosting the moral of stock farmers, who are facing difficulties in the wake of free trade agreements,also for promoting positive social recognition of stock farminglivestock products.
6) Gyeonggi Province Vice Governor Lee Jae-Yul
“Stock farmers have sufferedthe onset of foot-and-mouth disease as well as the aftereffects of the free trade agreements. We are organizing these concerts to help them regain their fighting spiritrestore their morale. We also aim to improve the public image of stock farms.

For severely injured individuals, the early provision of medical attentioncrucial. The emergency rescue team of the Seok Hae-gyun (석해균) Project, which undertakes live-saving operations in remote locations, has saved 63 lives in the past one year since its inauguration.

Seriously injured victims at the sites of accidents as well as those who are in a critical condition are picked uphelicopterquickly transported to hospitals, typically within one hour.

Gyeonggi Province reinforced the Seok Hae-gyun (석해균) Projectestablishing a highly skilled rescue team of 58 members in January this yearintroducing the accompaniment of medical doctors on board the dispatched helicopters.
Gyeonggi Province plans to expand emergency rescue services for patients in critical condition.

The Grand Chorus of Arirang (아리랑) took place at the Suwon World Cup Stadium. This event was organized with the aim of protecting national ownership of a song belovedKoreans. The organizers also plan to broadcast this chorus on the streets of New York City in July.

Gyeonggi Province will continue to implement its Arirang (아리랑) protection policy through various activities.

“We plan to show the images of everyone in the stadium singing in unison on the largest electric signs in New York City. I think it can be shown around July.”
A total of 4,000 members of traditional music groups as well as over 40,000 audience members participated in this Grand Chorus of Arirang so as to reaffirm that this songtruly theirs.
