But there are still people in remote areasisolated social segments who are living completely without the benefits of digital technology. Since the patterns of daily lives are changing rapidly through the advancement of technology, Gyeonggi Province devised a vehiclewhich to close the technological gap between these peoplethe rest of society.

Gyeonggi Province began operation of the visiting ‘Contents of Imagination’ Bus so as to provide on-site digital services to technologically deprived populations.

This ‘Contents of Imagination’ Bus will visititneeded, carrying a wide range of on-board digital devices including PCstablet PCs. Users of these devices will be able to experience a variety of digital contents such as games, moviesremote education programs.

Gyeonggi Province has successfully induced an investmenta Chinese enterprise for the establishment of a mega hotel in Goyang (고양) City.
1) MOU between Gyeonggi Province – HNA Group / Lotte Hotel, Seoul (September 5th)
Gyeonggi ProvinceHainan Airlines, one of the largest private enterprises in China, signed an MOU for the investmentHainan in the construction of a large hotel complex with 1,600 rooms in Gyeonggi Province.
2) One of Top 5 Private Enterprises in China
Hainan Airlines Groupone of the five largest private enterprises in China; it consists of Hainan Airlinesmany other companies operating in airport management, distribution, hotels, travel agencies, real estatefinancial services.
3) Hotel Targets Chinese Tourists
The number of Chinese tourists visiting Korea has been growing rapidly in recent years. As the demand for amenities that cater to Chinese visitors in Korea also increase, Hainan Airlines Group plans to extend existing air routes to Incheon International Airportbuild a hotel complex within a commutable distance.

This hotel complex project will cost Hainan Airlines a total of KRW 350 billion. According to the MOU, the lease contract for the site will be concluded in Octoberconstruction work will soonafterward. It will be a staggering 1,300-room hotel which will be completed in phases over five years

What could be more valuable for children than to learn the importance of naturesoilthe value of the honest labor of farmersthe products of their work? An organic farming experiential program for children in Yangpyeong (양평) County offered such educational opportunity.

Children marvel at various plantsvegetables that they don’t usually see in their city lives. They are immersed in making pickles with sesame leaves they just harvested themselves.

This organic farming experiential program for children was organized on the occasion of the 2011 IFOAM World Organic Congress for the purpose of promoting awareness of the importance of agriculture, the environmentecology among children.
