The number of daily s of Gyeonggi Intercity Buses has exceeded the 10,000 mark. Gyeonggi Intercity Buses, also known as Yellow Buses, are becoming more popularhave emerged as an important means of transportation in the province.

The number of s of the Gyeonggi Intercity Buses for intercity transit exceeded the 10,000 mark only 10 months after the service began operation in August last year. The Gyeonggi Intercity Bus Authority announced that daily s of these buses numbered 10,430 on May 27th, almost 10 times as many as the number of s at the beginning of operation. This new transit servicemore popular among residents in the northern part of the province, such as Uijeongbu (의정부) CityGuri (구리) City,public transportation facilities had been relatively scarce.
