A large-scale secondary battery plant will be built in the Hyeongok (현곡) Industrial Complex in Pyeongtaek City of Gyeonggi Province in the second half of 2011.
With the signing of an MOU between Gyeonggi ProvinceE-Material of Japan, the Hyeongok (현곡) Industrial Complex will become a major production base of secondary batterieslate 2011.

A Line 1 subway trainSeodongtan (서동탄)approaching the station platform. Through the crowd of passengers, we can see the civil applications office right inside the train.
This civil applications office was builtmodifying the central part of a subway carriage. It provides passengers with access to a variety of servicescivil applications to welfare, healthfinancial consultations they are commuting.
This special corner of the train office for seniorspersons with disabilitiesnow busy explaining the U-Anshim (안심) Call Service to inquirers.
Some passengers had no idea what the office was when they boarded the train, but were very pleased to discover that they could conveniently access a variety of services.

5: Students Learn Pleasure of Harvesting at School

Few things could be more educational than letting students learn the pleasures of harvesting. The after-school farms of primary schools are parts of an education project designedGyeonggi Province to allow children to grow cropsvegetablesharvest them themselves.

On a small farm of approximately 5,000 square feet beside this primary school in Yongin (용인) City, childrena teacher are busy harvesting cabbages. Children are absorbed in the work as they follow instructionsthe teacher.
These children will never forget the memory of their first harvest in this very class.
These students have been caring for their little farm since they first planted lettuce, crown daisyvarious other vegetables in April. Thisalready the fifth time they harvested vegetables.
At lunch time, children are eager to eat kimchiother dishes made with ingredients that they harvested themselves.
There are a total of 20 primary schools that were ed for the School Farm Project. Gyeonggi Province plans to expand this experiential education project toprimary schools in the province.

Gyeonggi ProvinceAnseong (안성) City signed an MOU with the world-renowned kitchenware manufacturer, Lock & Lock, for an investment that will help the local economy employment.
Lock & Lock will invest KRW 80 billion over five years in the construction of productiondistribution facilities on a 46-acre site in Anseong (안성) City.
When the plant in Anseong (안성)complete in December 2012, Lock & Lock will have the first automatic thermo products production plant in the world as well as a containersracks production teman automatic distribution tem.
Construction of the Lock & Lock plantexpected to at least 800 jobs. Residents of Gyeonggi ProvinceAnseong (안성) City will be given priority consideration for employment.
In order to support Lock & Lock with the successful implementation of its investment project, Gyeonggi ProvinceAnseong (안성) City promised to provide preferential treatment in administrative matters concerning the development of plant sitesthe processing of various permitsregistrations.
