3. Cultural Space Created In Bongnyeongsa Temple Gyeonggi Province

Traditional Buddhist temple Bongnyeongsa in Gwanggyo new town has constructed a cultural space for the residents.

A cultural center will be constructed in Bongnyeongsa, a traditional Buddhist temple, located in the Gyanggyo new town.

Gyeonggi Province, Suwonthe Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation made an agreement to construct a cultural space around Bongnyeongsa Temple.
The cultural space will be constructed on 128,000m2 of land area around Byognyeongsa TempleJulywill be completedSeptember 2011.

When the cultural spaceconstructed it will be easier to enter the temple which means that exchange opportunities between the traditional Buddhist templethe residents will become stronger.
Bongnyeongsa will be in charge of operating the Buddhist culture centerthe nursery, Suwon will maintainmanage the area, the Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation will construct the infrastructureGyeonggi Province will provide administrative support.

Through a win-win agreement between Gyeonggi ProvinceBuddhists, they have high expectations of being able to move a step closer to the residents.
The Province plans to support Gwanggyo new town in the building various facilities which will be interrelated with each other for the convenience of the residents.

4. Gyeonggi Province Steps Forward As A Center Of the 3D.CG Industry

Gyeonggi ProvinceGoyang opened a Gyeonggi 3D Movie Conferencestepped forward to develop the 3Dcomputer graphic industry.

This conference was held to shed light on the current trend of visual image effectsfor local visual effect companies to seek ways to enter into foreign markets.

Gyeonggi Province signed a memorandum of understanding with Goyangthe Korean Film Council to revitalize the 3D movie industry.

Through this agreement the construction of a 3D movie support center to 3D imagery skills, train skilled manpowerpush forward with the production technology support industry, will be accelerated.

According to the Ministry of Culture, itestimated that the Hollywood CG movie industryworth around $2.6 billionamong this, 10% of contracts are won, itexpected to give 12 times the effect of the 2008 Korean movie export amount of $21,900,000.
The Province together with Goyangthe Korean Film Council plans to provide a good working environment for 3D imagery companies such as constructing the basis infra expansion for 3D Imagery Industry facilities, opening conferences to support the companies’` networks.
