The child welfare center located in the church provides 49 children in need of parental love with foodlearning opportunities.

The civil servants of Gyeonggi Province Hwaseong visited the child welfare center to serve food to the childrenalso to eat with them.

The regional child center was established to provide childrenlow income households with sound foster welfare such as after school learning, games to playdevelop their special aptitudes.

The province made an agreement with Nonghyupthe Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation to provide special funds to small & medium sized companiesretailers with high job creation.

The support scope for the special fund$171.8. When the small & medium sized companies take $430,000 of a special fund loan for job creation, for 4 years a cost reduction of around $32,600expected.

Terms of Loan
The conditionloans payable in 3 years with a 1 year grace period. The interest rate1.5% for Gyeonggi Province, 0.7% for Nonghyupthe Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation will reduce the loan guarantee commission charge0.2%.

This projectexpected to revitalize the regional economy through the job creation of smallmedium sized companiesretailersobtaining laborlow interest rates.

3. Beginning Hope Savings ‘`Increase Happy Savings Account’`!

‘`Increase Happy Savings Account’`,an account for low income groups that gives twice the savings started in its first transaction.

From November 25th to December 9th 2009, applications started for the ‘`Increase Happy Savings Account’` for the quasi-poor group.

The opening ceremony of the ‘`Increase Happy Savings Account’` was held with 500 participants.

An overall cost of $1.5 million will be suppliedthe Gyeonggi Province self-supporting fundthe Community Chest of Korea respectively.
$86 of savings every month will result in a return of $6,200 of principalaround $6,600 including interest after 3 years.

5. Fun Winter in Farming Village

It’`s a cold winter with a fierce cold wave hitting the country, however, children in the winter holiday have forgotten about the cold playing traditional games in a village in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.

6. Garlic-Fed Sturgeon, 2 Fold Growth

Sturgeon producing high-quality caviar grow extremely slowly. It takes 8 years to produce caviar. However, feeding additives were developed to accelerate the growth of sturgeon 2 folds.

The smaller sturgeon was fed with normal sturgeon food, but the larger one was fed with garlic additive added sturgeon food.

The selenium in the garlic helps absorb the nutrients of sturgeon’`s food enabling them to grow two times faster than before.

Normally for raw fish it takes 1.5 years to 2 years to raise sturgeons, over 8 years for caviar. However, the development of adding garlic additives into the food increased the period to over half a year, increasing productivity.

After 3 years of research, the Freshwater Institute of Gyeonggi was able to acquire a patentplans to pass down patents to sturgeon hatcheries.

The successful resultexpected to increase the productivity of high value added sturgeonsthe profits of fishermen.
