1. Goyang to be Established as Medical Cluster

A ground-breaking ceremony was held for Dongguk University`s Biomedical Campus.

The Dongguk University biomedical campus will be connected with the Goyang Medical cluster thatbeing promoted as a joint project with Goyangwill be built on a plot spanning 169,000 square meters when completed in 2020 with medical schools, oriental medical schoolsother institutions to move here.

The first phase of the project aims to complete an 8 story building on a 15,000 square meter plot that combines industrial-educational cooperation officeslecture halls.

We are looking forward to high-tech bio medical engineering research getting a boost through the completion of this campus.

Gyeonggi plans to the Goyang Medical Cluster which will have a related infrastructure for R & D centers, a medical venture research town, medical service facilities based around Dongguk University`s Ilsan Hospital.

Gyeonggi Provincegoing to provide active support to solve bottlenecks the medical industry may face, as well as for the growth of the medical industry.

2. Infinite Care for Youths `Exciting Temple Experience`

Youthsrecipient families of the infinite care project had a chance to come one step closer to Buddha`s teachings through a temple stay at Yongjusa Temple.

Through this experience youths came in contact with a Buddhist culture unknown to everyday life.

Though somewhat awkwarduncomfortable the youths could adjust well to the unique experience.

Buddhists have concluded a working agreement with the infinite care project on July 6th promising to teach the youths through temple stay programs.

Gyeonggi Province plans to provide administrative support to families in need in cooperation with Buddhists.

3. Emergency Medical Training with Gyeonggi Residents

Gyeonggi Province carried out emergency medical trainingAugust 17th through the 20th. Youths, the centerpiece of the future,families participated.
