2. [Sky Leisure Expo Leading to `Leisure Flight Industry`]

About 100 aircraft33 flight related companies attended in the largest leisure flight festival of its kind in Korea at the 2009 International Sky Leisure Expo. In 5 days nearly 300,000 people attended.

An Italian air stunt group put on a colorful air show. There were ultra light planes, hang glidersvarious other hands-on activities that were very popular among visitors.

There was a spreading economic effect with about $4.8 million in production effect.

Also a paraglider company in Korea concluded 44 million in paraglider contracts with 10 countries including the US showing the possibility of entering overseas markets.

More than anything else, the leisure flight industry has become more accessible to the public through this sky expo. We can also look forward to support increasing to industrialize this industry.

3. [Global 2009 Gyeonggi World Ceramic Bienalle]

Some special visitors have come to visit the bustling World Ceramic Bienalle grounds. They are diplomatsforeign families living in Korea.

A ground-breaking ceremony was held for an artificial marsh ecology park to improve the water quality of the Gyeongin River.

The project to improve the water quality of the Gyeongin River consists of constructing a large scale artificial marshdouble treating the groundtreated water to improve water quality.

As part of a combined policy to clean up the Gyeongan River 8.9 kilometersMapyeong dong to Samgye-ri are being restored as an ecological river.

The scale of the Gyeongan Ecology Park treatment stands at 42,587 tons a day with a predicted effect of reducing pollution32.5%.
