1. [Delayed Regulations Welcomed!]
On the 27th, Gyeonggi Province stated its stance as one that welcomes either doing away with various regulations for 2 years, or easing restrictions.
Because the delaying of regulationsnecessarya policy perspective an immediate abolishment would be difficult, but would ify or ease regulations that are dragging on the economythat affect the working class.
Also, the province has added that these measures will promote induced investmentprivate investment, creating good jobs,help contribute to the welfare of the working class.
2. [Dreams in International Sky Leisure Expo D-30]

The 2009 International Sky Leisure Expo that will include various recreational aircraftless than 30 days away.
Foreign recreational aircraft companiesabout 100 recreational airplanes will participate in aerial acrobatics in the largest scale show of its kind in Korea.

3. [Flexibility in Global Game Hub Center]
Gyeonggi Province, the Ministry of CultureSportsSeongnam City concluded an agreement for the establishment of a `Global Hub Center.`
The center plans to play the important role ofgame development companies move in, human resource development educationdominating future game markets.
Especially since the center will be expanded onthe Pangyo Techno Valley in 2012 plans are in place for major game companies to be connected creating a cluster.
To achieve this more than $37 million will be invested.
The provinceexpecting the establishment of the center to a regional economic effect of more than $564 million more than 6,000 jobs.
4. [Spring Bazaar for Gyeonggi Children`s World]

5. [North Korean Refugees our Neighbors]
The `Hana Center` opened within the Deokyu Social Welfare Center in Western Gyeonggi`s Bucheon to support North Korean refugees settleadjust to life in the South.
The `Hana Center` opening day was attendedUnification Minister Hyeon In-taek,provincial Governor Kim Mun-su.
The Hana Center will provide initial educationthe tematic support with the `North Korean Refugees General Support Center,` which will operate for 1 year.
Also, the Hana Center will provide support for those refugees who complete the assimilation education to help them find a place to live, mediate a job searchhelp them adjust to the workplace.
The Hana Centerexpected to play an important role as the region takes a greater interest in North Korean refugeesthe center becomes a storehouse of support.
Gyeonggi Provincemanaging the job education course at the Gyeonggi Technical School to jobs for North Korean refugees,the citycounty are working to farming jobs for themconnecting with farming groups.
6. [Gyeonggi, Seongnam to Ease Regulations]
On March 31st the building permit for the 555m Lotte World 2, was grantedthe government, to be built in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Following this, Gyeonggi ProvinceSeongnam are seeking ways to carry out measures regarding the decision to ease restrictions on tall buildings.

At present, 60% of the total area of Seongnam has been designated a flight safety zone restricting tall buildingsbeing built.
16 dongs in Sujeong-gu10 dongs in Jungwon-gu are designated as flight safety zones 56 restricting the construction of buildings taller than 45 meters.
The issue of Seongnam easing its zoning restrictions was proposedPrime Minister Han Seung-su at the `Gyeonggi Province Civil Servants Rally.`

7. [Gyeonggi Seniors` Center to be Senior Welfare Hub!]
The senior population stands at 5 million.
18% of seniors in Korea live in Gyeonggi Province.
The `Gyeonggi Seniors` Center` was built in Suwon for the welfare of the ever growing senior population.
Thisthe first time in the country a whole building built just for seniors.
The Korean Seniors` Gyeonggi Association office, strength training room, the Gyeonggi Silverbank to help seniors on job hunts,the `General Seniors` Counseling Center` are going to be included.
In the future the Gyeonggi Seniors` Center will play a pivotal role as a hub for seniors in Gyeonggi.
