1. [Security Camera in Place]
Reckless damage to precious cultural artifacts is happening a lot these days. CCTVs will be set up in Hwaseong, and Suwon with the province stepping up efforts to protect cultural assets.
From next month, CCTVs and an automatic security system will be launched for the protection of world cultural heritages. In the past, Hwaseong has suffered from damage both small and great such as the Seojangdae that burnt down in 2005, and the pampas grass field fire on January 15.
Four entrances near Hwaseong, Seojangdae, and five other places will have an automatic security system and 21 wooden constructions including Hwahongmun will have 31 CCTVs in operation by the end of February.

Since wooden structures are especially vulnerable to arson we are trying to prevent them through CCTV monitors

Although places other than Haenggung have been relying on regular patrols, from now on, an instant response will be possible through CCTVs if any strange actions are detected.
After construction, the Hwaseong Office briefing room will observe the facilities through CCTVs to prepare for damage or arson relating to cultural assets.

3. [Learn to behave properly]
Although many students study at an academy during their vacation, there is a place that teaches students a sense of duty and manners.
Children begin to gather at the etiquette school in spite of the cold weather.
Before the class starts students dress up in traditional clothing and learn good posture.
They are keen on learning to bow formally.

I always bowed without giving it much thought, but now I know how to bow correctly.

Students also learn about Confucius teachings such as proverbs about respect for one’s parents and to how act properly.

Although many parents send their kids to academies, if their kids learn about reasons and propriety their studies will naturally follow

People should consider their body condition prior to doing any kind of exercise. One public health center in Anyang is helping its residents with this through fitness counseling.
The exercise prescription office of Manan district health center in Anyang, Gyeonggi, is popular among the residents.
The prescription office provides health care and management by measuring muscle density, joints, and body strength.

Residents with a prescription are busy working out at the health improving office right beside the prescription room.

We are giving several tests and prescribing relative exercises; people like it and are showing good results

Since this free prescription program is favorably received, it will continue its service for more residents.
