□ Accordingly, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government founded The Museum Of Silhak to foster filial piety and serve as the core of this spiritual culture together with “The Museum Of Silhak Festival.” Focusing on extensive recognition, The Museum Of Silhak was founded to serve as a central institution for worldwide Silhak research, to lead Silhak studies in East Asia by systematically collecting, exhibiting and studying Silhak-related relics that are considered to have been generated and developed commonly in Korea, Japan and China, and to contribute to the activation of the local economy as a cultural and tourist resource.
