Onsemi, an advanced semiconductor material manufacturer based in Phoenix, Arizona, started the construction of a new production line on its site in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province. With this investment of over 1 billion USD, Onsemi is expected to create about 1,500 jobs for local residents. Governor Kim Dong-yeon of Gyeonggi Province attended the groundbreaking ceremony to thank the company for the investment and vow to forge closer partnership.
