Canada-headquartered NEO Battery Materials and Gyeonggi Provincial Government signed an agreement on May 30 to build a new plant for silicon anode materials to be used in electric vehicle batteries in Pyeongtaek, South Korea under a 24 billion won ($19.4 million) investment program by 2025.
