According to a poll commissioned by the Federation of Korean Industries, the number of South Korean firms that consider bringing their manufacturing facilities back home jumped ninefold in two years. The survey results indicate that six out of 10 businesses showed interest in reshoring, resulting from production disruptions caused by the supply chain snarls, rising logistics costs and the prolonged rivalry between the United States and China.
