The Icefish & Trout Festival, held in Yangpyeong County of Gyeonggi Province, is an event where visitors can enjoy pristine nature while fishing for shimmering icefish and trout on a 115,000-square-meter body of water. Visitors can also enjoy local specialties such as Jipyeong rice, Jupyeong doenjang (soybean paste), and organic vegetables. As the festival venue is located within a 10-minute walk of Yongmun Subway Station, it is an ideal one-day course. This festival offers various events under different themes such as the Icefish Fishing Competition, Icefish Tasting, Trout Fishing Competition, and Sliced Raw Trout, as well as leisure sports such as snow sledding, ice sledding, and electric ice cycling, so all family members can enjoy the festival.
