▶ Awards ceremony for Gwanggyo New Town photo competition held

▶ A celebration of love for family to the backgdrop of Mt. Gwanggyosan and the lake park

 

□ The Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation (CEO Seung Dae Choi) hosted the ‘Gwanggyo New Town Photo Competition’ and held an awards ceremony for winning submittals at the Gwanggyo Information Center on the 19th.

○ The gold, silver and bronze prize winners attended the ceremony, where Yong Gon Kim’s “Beautiful Night,” was awarded the gold prize, while “Beauty of Nature (Cheon Il Yu) and “Family (Young Hwan Park)” won silver prize, and “There’s Our Home” (Hyo Ja Lee), “Sunset at Gwanggyo” (Bok Seok Kim)” and “Mists of Lake Shindae” (Chang Won Kwon) were honored with the bronze prize.

□ The ‘Gwanggyo New Town Photo Competition,’ held under the theme “The Four Seasons with Gwanggyo New Town” attaracted photo afficionados from all over the country, and 134 high-quality photo works taken in Gwanggyo New Town, including Mt. Gwanggyosan, Lake Wonchon, and Lake Shindae, were submitted.

□ Prize money of 1 million Won (Gold prize, 1 person), 500,000 Won (Silver prize, 2 persons), 300,000 Won (Bronze prize, 3 persons), 200,000 Won (Runner-up, 5 persons), and 100,000 Won (Second runner-up, 20 persons) will be given out, and the winning works will be exhibited on the Gwanggyo New Town website( http://www.gwanggyonewtown.or.kr/user.tdf?a=user.index.IndexApp&c=1001&t=1377448077647 )as well as the Gwanggyo New Town Information Center and other associated agencies.□ Gyeonggi Urban innovation corporation CEO Seung Dae Choi commented “the competition, hosted to follow the success of the “Gwanggyo New Town Winter Photo Competition” held in the first half of the year brought photographic art together with the warmness of life in the Gwanggyo area and the natural environment in an opportunity to strengthen family bonds and raise recognition and favorable impressions of the Gwanggyo New Town.”
