Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation, Supply tailored studio flats for University students and, people just starting out careers
– 24 housings in Anyang-si with 60% of market price… to be received on the site from 8 May
Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation announced that 24 studio flats constructed in front of Manan-gu Office, Anyang-dong, Anyang-si will be supplied to university students and office workers just starting out their careers as the first model of housing welfare of Gyeonggi-do.
These studio flats will be supplied to university students and office workers just starting out their careers each 12 housings respectively, consisting of 2 types of 19.86㎡(12 housings) and 20.79㎡(12 housings) in a four-story building. Rental fees will be, regardless of the type, with deposit 5 million KRW and monthly rental fee 270 thousand KRW for students and monthly rental fee 290 thousand KRW for office workers just starting out their careers, which is about 60% of the market price in neighborhood. The 2nd floor (8 housings) is only available for female.
Eligible applicants are single residents of Anyang-si on resident registration as of announcement date of resident recruitment (27 April), who are students of universities located in Anyang (including students to enter or to return) and office workers of companies located in Anyang (less than 5 years of total working period).
The application will be received on the site of the subject housing (56 Naengcheon-ro, Manan-gu, Anyang-si) during 3 days between 8 May and 10 May. During the period, the housing is open to the public, applicants can directly check housing conditions and its surroundings. Move-in residents will be selected through electronic drawing of lots in early June and move-in will be started from mid June.

The Corporation temporary decided the brand of these Anyang-dong studio flats as ‘Ddabok house-youth’. Ddabok house-youth is a project that Gyeonggi-do provided small-sized left-over land as free and Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation donated a building after constructing for free use over 30 years, evaluated as a type of housing welfare model of Gyeonggi-do.
Jeong, Dong-sun, the director general of housing welfare, Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation addressed “the Corporation actively carries out excavation work for suitable places to expand current Ddabok house-youth project and a project to develop various types of housing welfare of Gyeonggi-do”.
