Anseong Machum City Tour

Anseong City Tour

In Anseong, you can enjoy a high quality city tour that is full of exciting things to see and interesting stories to hear, departing every Saturday.  The bus departs from in front of Seoul City Hall and stops over at the temporary bus terminal at Jukjeon. Therefore, the tour is easily accessible not only to residents of Seoul but also residents of Gyeonggi Province living in cities like Suwon, Seongnam, or Yongin.

Unlike other cities, the courses suitable for the season and month are predetermined in the relevant month. Additionally, the “Annual City Tour Operation” courses are announced each week via the tourism website of Anseong. 

As you can visit different tourist destinations every week, it is a good idea to take the trip two or three weeks in a row.

A trip to Daebudo Island on a double-decker bus

Ansan City Tour

In Ansan, which is the city of marine tourism in Gyeonggi Province, a special double-decker bus tour runs to Daebudo Island as a part of the city tours program.

The golden colored double-decker bus reminds viewers of the ‘Daebu Golden Boulevard’ that runs across the island, and is welcomed with tremendous enthusiasm wherever it goes.  Of particular note, children are said to be fascinated by the sight of the bus and gaze at its interior and exterior closely the moment the bus stops.

City-Rock-Bus in a city that rocks

Seongnam City Tour

What is the Seongnam City-Rock-Bus?  The City-Rock-Bus tour is the city tour program of Seongnam through which you can visit cultural heritage sites, bustling old markets, and museums with exciting experiences and stories to share.  The exclusive bus departs from City Hall Station, runs by Seoul National University of Education Station, and finally reaches Seongnam City Hall, where the true journey begins. 

The first stop of the journey is Yuldong Park with its beautiful lake, bungee-jumping course, sculpture garden, and walking trail.  In this course, the visitors may participate in the Barista-Experience Event and plaster air-freshener making class in the Yuldong Eco Learning Center, drop by the Occupation Experience Center of Job World, visit the Folk Artifact Experience Center, and explore Namhansanseong Fortress, which is registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage SITE.

In particular, the walking trail from NamhanSanseong Haenggung to Sueojangdae is renowned as an ideal place to enjoy the autumn, which is already upon us now.

A new way to discover Suwon Hwaseong Fortress!

Suwon City Tour

A unique and exemplary fortress… The leading military archaeological heritage of 19th century Korea and a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage SITE… Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is most easily and conveniently visited and enjoyed via the Suwon City Tour. 

The tour departs from Suwon Station and goes through exciting destinations such as ‘Haewoojae’, which is a toilet culture museum full of exciting and funny sculptures, followed by Hwaseong Haenggung, Hwahongmun, Banghwasuryujeong, Yeonmudae, Changnyongmun, and Hwaseong Museum, covering the entire city and related facilities in this ‘Suwon Hwaseong Course’ which runs twice a day.  The tour provides voice narration when the bus passes the four main gates of the city, which include Hwaseomun, Janganmun, and Paldalmun. In addition, the trip provides an opportunity to view all the major buildings of Hwaseong.
On crisp autumn days, walking from Hwahongmun to Yeonmudae is recommended since it provides the best view of the elegant contours of the fortress.

The trip runs once a week on Sunday. The visitors will have lunch at Jidong Market, which is included in Suwon Hwaseong Course. After lunch, visitors may find another course available for them that connects the cities of Hwaseong and Osan. This combined course also offers a visit to Yungneung and Geolleung and Moolhyuanggi Arboretum.
