Gamaksan Mountain, Paju

At Gamaksan Mountain, which is one of the most famous and beautiful mountains in Paju, the city hosts “Paju Gamaksan Mountain Autumn Foliage Festival 2016” from October 22 to 23, 2016. In this year’s festival, various attractions and events will await visitors, including a family health walking competition, an arm wrestling competition, youth group performances, and cheese pizza making, as well as the red and yellow autumn leaves.

Myeongjisan Mountain, Gapyeong

Myeongjisan Mountain, which is the second highest mountain in Gyeonggi Province after Hwaaksan Mountain, features a large number of broad-leaved trees, long and water-rich valleys, and beautiful waterfalls, making it a popular destination for autumn tourists.  The topology of the mountain is magnificent. However, the hiking course is not that difficult even for beginners. In addition, the crimson forest trail is on a mild slope, making it easier to follow. Unaksan Mountain, Gapyeong

Unaksan Mountain is called one of the five great mountains in Gyeonggi Province, along with Hwaaksan Mountain, Gwanaksan Mountain, Gamaksan Mountain, and Songaksan Mountain. Of all these, Unaksan Mountain is renowned for its scenery. The mountain deserves this honor both for its superb topography as well as for its unique geology. Yongmunsan Mountain, Yangpyeong

Yongmunsan Mountain – the fourth highest mountain in Gyeonggi Province after Hwaaksan Mountain, Myeongjisan Mountain, and Gungmangbong – is famous for its unique rocks and splendid ridges.
