Gorangpo Trail

Gorangpo Trail

This trail covers the area near Gorang Port where the goods of Hanseong (present-day Seoul) and Gaeseong (a North Korean city) were exchanged along the Han River. The trail was named after the port to convey the hope for exchanges between South and North Korea. The course is over 20km in length and requires endurance. Beverages and snacks should be prepared in advance.

Tongilieum Trail

This trail is where travelers can find quiet woods and green fields with adlay, one of the specialties of Yeoncheon County, and appreciate the clean and refreshing environment of the region. This course covering Sinmang-ri Station, Banga Bridge, and Sintan-ri Station goes through the cofferdam of Chatan Riverside. At Sintan-ri Station, the end point of the Pyeonghwa-Nuri Trail, there is a sign indicating that the Gyeongwon Line Railroad is no longer operating due to the division of the Korean peninsula. This sign is famous for the phrase “We want to be back on track.”
