This is a ravine formed through the erosion of basalt at the end of Daehoisan Stream flowing down from Mt. Bulmu, and waters flowing from Daehoisan-ri are turned into a waterfall at this ravine and later joined with Hantan River. They call it Turtledove Cliff, where hundreds of turtledoves would inhabit in winter seasons from of old. A deep ravine and a cosy nest have been formed as waterfalls along Hantan River have been moved backwards due to the erosion of basalt developing for hundreds of thousands of years. A magnificent and fantastic scene is created as the thrilling waterfall and a downstream under it are well harmonized with surrounding columnar joints. Recently, the ravine comes into the spotlight as a venue for photographing for dramas.
