The spring is well-known for its unchanging throughout the year. The scenery is excellent since the basalt ravine is about 3km long and basalt columnar joints are well developed around the swamp. Around the march, there is a wonderful spot related to Gung-ye and they say that a small pond called Wang-je (Wang-je Tan or Wangje Yeo-ul) where Gung-ye offered a sacrifice unto heavens while escaping from the threat of Geon Wang. Under Wang-je, there is also a bog called Horse Shoulder which is said to be a place where Gung-ye took a rest for a while when he was running away on horseback from Geon Wang; the bog is also called Horse Excrement which is said to be a place where the horse on whose back running-away Gung-ye sat evacuated its bowels because of hard labor.
