Yeongeungdaegun (1434~1467), was the eighth son of King Sejong. His original tomb site was Yangju, Gunga-ri, but it was relocated to its current location on September 17th, 1900 (4th year of King Gwangmu’s reign). He was buried with two of his wives, Jeong of Haeju, and Song of Yeosan and to the left of this tomb,his third wife, Kim of Yeonan, was buried. The stone monument that stands about 50m southeast of the tomb was originally put up in 1498 (4th year of King Yeonsan’s reign) then relocated with the tomb on September 1900.
