• Major Programs
▶ Gyeonggi Knit Collaboration Fashion Show
– Famous domestic designers create and exhibit knitwear using fabrics made in northern Gyeonggi Province
– Participating designers: 11
– Participating (fabric) companies: 11
– Clothing created: 88 sets (8 sets per designer)
– Offer to companies: Each article of clothing will be produced in sets of two; a total of eight sets will be offered to each company for fabric marketing.
▶ College Student Knit Fashion Show
– Contest to raise awareness of Gyeonggi Province as a center of knitwear production, to nurture knitwear designers, and to provide opportunities for fashion exchanges among colleges.
– Participating colleges: 18 colleges (11 in Gyeonggi Province and 7 outside of Gyeonggi Province)
– On the day of the event, the colleges and creations with the highest achievements will be selected through a final screening.
▶ Buyer Conference
– Period and Venue: August 28 to 30, 2017 / COEX, Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas
– Buying show linked to Preview in SEOUL 2017 and Gyeonggi Knit Fashion Show
‧ Fashion show displaying creations exhibited at Gyeonggi Knit Fashion Show at COEX (August 30)
‧ Gyeonggi Knit Fashion Show Hall connecting buyers who have seen the show with fabric companies (200 sets to be exhibited; introductions of textile materials and manufacturers to be provided)
