Local historic relics No. 15
Location : San 71 Jonam-dong, Siheung
This is the site of an altar built in Ansan-gun, of the Joseon Dynasty, some time after the relocation of its municipal government from moknae-dong to Suam-dong in 1441. It is presumed to have been destroyed during the Japanese takeover, sometime after 1910. The length of one side of the altar was 13.5m and height was roughly 1.5m. Each corner of the altar points to the four cardinal points, but the direction is slightly off centered, about 20 degrees.
