Farmers in the province can apply for a loan at an agricultural cooperative whenever necessary. Successful applicants are selected after a process of review of the project feasibility and their management ability. The \78.8 billion fund is being provided by the Provincial Office.

Those eligible to apply are new startup individual farmers, groups of farmers growing advanced fruit trees and farming corporations with at least one year of project experience that need financial support for operation, the renovation of existing facilities and/or purchasing of equipment.

Conditions of Loan
-For facility fund: Interest of 4% per annum, principal to be paid for 10 years after a grace period of 3 ~ 5 years
-For renovation fund: Interest of 4% per annum, principal to be paid for 3 years after a grace period of 2 years
-For operation fund: Interest of 4% per annum, principal to be paid within 2 years
-For equipment fund: Interest of 4% per annum, principal to be paid for 4 ~ 7 years after a grace period of one year.

Limitation of Use of Fund
-For facility fund: The fund should be spent on facilities related to production, growing, storage, distribution, processing, agro-tourism as well as the expansion of facilities or purchasing of land.
-For renovation fund: The fund should be spent on renovation or supplementation of existing facilities or purchasing of equipment.
-For operation fund: The fund should be spent on project operation.
-For equipment fund: The fund should be spent on the purchase of farming machinery (priced at \30 million or higher) falling within a category deemed eligible for governmental support.

Facility funds can be provided only in the event that the required expenses come to \20 million or more. The installation of energy-saving facilities or facilities for the enhancement of hothouse functions costing less than \20 million may, however, make an application for renovation funds.

Applicants are invited to submit their applications together with the project plan to a local agricultural cooperative designated by NACF.
