Local industry cluster is becoming more than a simple accumulation for saving transaction expense, but also, now it takes a great role as the root of the technical innovation, knowledge creation, and the source of local competitive power, and at this point, Gyeonggi Research Institute provided the plan of strategic industrial cluster.

From this research, it has looked into the cluster as well as the innovation status among the electronic information communication manufacturing business among the strategy industry and also presented concrete plans for the industry-production system, science-production system, business-support system and links between industries.

First, the inducement strategy of business-service industry for Gyeonggi-do’s production cluster reinforcement was presented and disputed. The establishment for a council to revitalize Gyeonggi-do industries by providing and adjusting synthetic cluster policies for company support cluster was emphasized.

Secondl strategies of inducing finance, business, logistics and other major service-related corporations in order to develop industrial service that is weak among those industries that constitutes the production cluster in Gyeonggi-do was presented.

Third, to reinforce industrial support clusters, Gyeonggi Small Business Center was granted the role to function as an intermedium organization of Gyeonggi-do.

Finally, establishment plans for a science technology center to be the stronghold of R&D cluster, basic high-tech R&D organization and also the leading professional science technology development and coordinator was presented.
