The Gyeonggi Women’s Development Center (GWDC) has been invited to the held in Geneva, Swiss from Dec. 8 to 13. GWDC has been invited as the representative case presentation organization of the Asian region and will be presenting vision and organization of women centers, professional IT education project for women, women business support project, women information project and more. 

WSIS-GC is dealing with the various discussions towards Information-oriented society, especially focused on the women’s right and gender equality. 

At the meeting, summary of operations for an equal knowledge society and forums and presentations by each region (Africa, Asia & Pacific regions, Latin America & Caribe, the Mideast & Western Asia, Europe, CIS, North America and etc.), the role of women in human resource development in a knowledge-based society, creating opportunities for women in a knowledge-based society, potential development and women power and more will be held during the whole programme. 

Also, showing the cases for each division, region, and business thru the multi-media exhibition of Information and communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) Platform.
