Gyeonggi-do concludes export contracts worth 24 million dollars through export business talks

Last Feb. 11, the Gyeonggi government held exhibition and conferences on excellent Gyeonggi products in Tokyo Trade Center, Japan. Lead by Jung, Chang-Sub, the Vie Governor 1 for Administrative Affairs, about 80 participants from 50 companies participated this event, which obtained great results such as concluding 175 contracts worth 24 million dollars and 421 business talks worth 76.7 million dollars. 

The purpose for this event is to support exportations of small and medium enterprises within the province. The scale of this exhibition is as large as international trade fairs and the provincial government has held for the third time in Tokyo, Japan since’02.

Major export counsel results are the 800 thousand dollar supply contract for 3DAA systems made by TEnOPS (3D Ad System) with Nissin , Sprite Electronins Corp. (speaker) with Kokiwa and another 3 companies have concluded supply contracts worth 9.4 million dollars for home theaters and PC speakers. Also Tkenaga will import cosmetic products made by Kornon Shop and other contracts concluded with another 5 companies are worth 410 thousand dollars. 

Telink (golf practicing system) has contracted a 600 thousand dollar sample contract with Sunaga Kaihatsu, a Japanese sports corporation and expects expanding export quantity by proving the performance of its Golf Swing Analyzer to Japanese consumers. 

In contrary to general international exhibitions for unspecified individuals, about one thousand buyers were invited in advance for efficient and sound export consultations. 

The results of a survey questioning 50 participating companies on the comparison of their actual goal and the actual results obtained through this event, 39 out of 50, 78% has replied to be satisfied. 

33 companies (66%) were found the overall exhibition site satisfactory and 45 companies (90%) answered of achieving results of contract conclusions and meeting new buyers. 

49 companies (98%) are already planning to participate in future fairs and also 37 companies out of 50 answered of continuing business talks with the buyers after returning to Korea. 

To maintain and improve business relationships, marketing activities will be focused on potential buyers for the upcoming invitation business conference in May and June.
