Chinese national enterprise CEOs, coming forth to ‘learn Korea’

CEOs from major Chinese national enterprises are turning their heads towards Korean enterprises. 
The Gyeonggi-do government announced on Mar. 14, “Starting from today and until the 22nd of next month, 23 CEOs from national enterprises within Guangdongsheng, China will start a training course to learn business management theories and strategies of Korean enterprises.” 
Trainees visiting Korea includes presidents and directors of major Chinese national enterprises in fields of steel, shipment, transportation, foreign trade, road construction, electrical power, investment and other fields. 
During their training period, theories on business management, relation between high-tech industries and management, northeast economical cooperation and developmental strategies and other courses at the Graduate School of International Studies of Seoul National University. 
Business practice in high-tech management and global strategies will be trained by SK and Samsung, where trainees will be able to directly see and observe key industry sites. 
This training program was realized through the ‘Economic cooperation promotion agreement between both Gyeonggi-do and Guangdongsheng’ concluded by the leaders of both regions in October last year. 
During the training period, business meetings between CEOs from both regions will be made to activate interchanges between businesses and also to increase the understanding of the competitiveness of industry and economy. 
Guangdongsheng occupies 30% of Korea’s total export to China and as an economical center of China; the region is appraised for reform and opening China for the last 20 or so years. 
To promote economical cooperation between the two regions, a cooperation fund of about 20 million dollars for minor businesses is being planned together.
