o The Gyeonggi provincial government will advertise its tourism resources in a bid to attract more visitors. The provincial government announced that it would participate in the Korea World Travel Fair, the biggest held in the nation, on June 3.
The travel fair will take place for four days, from June 3 through 6, at Atlantic Hall, 3F of COEX. Some 2,000 personnel from 250 organizations of 80 nationalities, including Korea’s 16 cities and provinces will participate in this fair.

During the travel fair, many large-size panels will be installed thematically (Imjingak, Ever Land, Goyang T&C Valley) at the Gyeonggi kiosk, along with LCD TV screens and various travel brochures (11 types: 11,000 copies) to effectively appeal to the public. Ahnseong Baudeogi will perform folk music to give a little taste of what is to be expected in Gyeonggi.

An official from the government said, “Participation in the travel fair will be an opportunity to advertise the province and numerous international events such as “VGK 2005”, “Gyeonggi Travel Fair” and “International Travel Souvenir Design Competition” to the greater pool of potential visitors from across the world.
