The Office of Economy of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government and the Korea Gyeonggido Company (KGC) are recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Gyeonggi Province to join an online/offline overseas market development support project until August 12.

The project consists of an overseas distribution network development program and the Gyeonggi Business Center’s (GBC) intense support program for entry into Yanbian and Hanoi. The project is open to all SMEs, based in Gyeonggi Province that seek to make inroads into global markets.

The overseas distribution network development program helps SMEs supply their products through Gyeonggi-do Excellent Products Malls, affiliated antenna shops and local online shopping malls in China and Vietnam. In addition, the project supports B2C marketing activities for consumers in different countries.

The Gyeonggi Business Center’s (GBC) intense support program helps SMEs supply their products through local distribution channels via GBC branches in Yanbian, China, and Hanoi, Vietnam, and provides a B2B buyer-seeking service for large export amounts between businesses.

Hong Seok-min, head of the Office of Planning & Coordination of KGC, said, “Exports by SMEs have severely declined due to COVID-19. We will open an export market for SMEs in Gyeonggi Province, using our own overseas distribution networks.”

Each company can apply for one program only. All applicants should have a certificate relating to export to a target country in order to join the project.
