President Joe Biden of the United States announced the signing of the bipartisan CHIPS and Science bill, calling it a “once-in-a-generation investment for America.” The act is designed to lower the cost of production to encourage and incentivize more companies to manufacture semiconductor chips on the American soil instead of moving overseas.
