From October 28 to 29, a unique night festival aimed at urban regeneration will be held in Dongducheon for those in their 20s and 30s.

The festival, titled DDC Halloween Club Day, which is being held under the theme of “reviving the night,” is aimed at revitalizing the local night commerce area on the occasion of Halloween.

During the festival, hip-hop, DJ and EDM performances will attract the interest of young people. The DDC Halloween Special Concert will be held for two days on the outdoor stage of the Bosan-dong Special Tourist Zone. The main performers on the first day of the concert include Swings and DJ KU:L, while the second day of the concert features Dok2, The Quiett and other various performers.

OTwo clubs in the Dongducheon Special Tourist Zone will be open during the festival period.

DJ KU:L, DJ Joy and other DJs will perform at S-CLUB, and bands including Jeongijangpan and Bsus4 will take the stage at the Pentagon Club.

Other events and happenings include Halloween Night Market, Halloween Costume Experience Zone, Halloween Photo Zone, Zombie Performance, and Halloween Costume Contest. Food trucks will also be on hand to provide food from various countries that can be enjoyed only in Dongducheon.

As a special event, the 14th NY Hotdog Eating Contest will be held on the outdoor stage on October 28. Participants can compete in four categories: individual, group, or pair matches and a make-the-longest-hotdog competition. The contest will be marked by a performance by an idol group. Applications for participation can be made through the New York Hotdog & Coffee website.
