The plaza waterpark at Yongin City Hall, which opened on July 23, features a variety of amusement facilities almost as impressive as some exclusive waterparks. Kindergarten children to 3rd year elementary school students can use the waterpark, and it is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm every day, seven days a week.

In particular, the park has become bigger, expanding from 4,000㎡ to 8.000㎡, which is expected allow more citizens to have fun in the water. Additionally, the park now has more space for people to take a comfortable break under the mid-summer sun with a 3,500㎡ grass lawn.

The number of lifeguards has also been increased from 12 last year to 28 this year. During lunch time on weekends, performances, storytelling sessions, and activity programs will be on hand for children.
